Why did other civilizations not follow Egypt's example about how to treat their women?
Back in the origins of the first civilization in Egypt there was no
need for a women's movement. I really enjoyed reading, that at least in
one civilization, women were treated as equal as men. Due to this practice I believe that Egypt was probably the most civilized city at that time. Unfortunately now
women in Egypt have adopted some of the Mesopotamia customs and their women now wear veils and are segregated from men at school and work. What happened?
How come Egyptians stopped believing that men and women had the same rights, and took away from women the right to do things men can do?
